TANZANIA TOURIST VISA CHECKLIST

VISA ON ARRIVAL

NOTE:

Visa can be obtained On Arrival by paying a fee of USD 50. Applicant should have a passport valid for atleast 6 months beyond their stay, including confirmed return flight tickets, hotel booking and yellow fever vaccination certificate. The applicants are required to show evidence of sufficient funds to cover their stay in Tanzania.

TANZANIA E-VISA

Important Notice to the Tanzanians Living in INDIA, BANGLADESH, NEPAL, SINGAPORE AND SRI LANKA

- Tanzania High Commission, New Delhi wishes to inform all, that the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has introduced electronic service for VISA [E-VISA] whereby an applicant can now fill in an Electronic Application Form for E-VISA available online at Tanzania Immigration website https://www.immigration.go.tz. Click here for online application form for visa).

- Applicant must ensure that his/her passport has a validity of at least six months and at least one unused visa page while making application. Applicant is expected to apply for a right category of visa. If the applicant is not sure about the type of visa he requires, he is advised to seek guidance through the e-mail info@visatanzania.go.tz. The Visa application will be processed within ten (10) days, therefore applicants are strongly advised to observe the time frame while making their applications.

REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA

ORDINARY (SINGLE ENTRY) VISA

An application of Ordinary Visa should be accompanied with the following;

- Copy of the applicant’s valid passport (biographic data page);

- Return ticket of the flight (not mandatory);

- Dully filled in declaration form

- 50 USD visa fee.

MULTIPLE VISA

- Copy of the applicant’s valid passport (biographic data page);

- 100 USD Visa fee;

- Valid passport or national ID of the person to be visited in Tanzania (host) OR;

- A covering letter of the host Institution detailing the reasons and frequency of Visits OR;

- Attached Certificate of marriage of a spouse and a passport/national ID, if the applicant comes to visit a spouse OR;

- Any proof that justifies that a visitor is required to visit the United Republic of Tanzania frequently.

- Return ticket of the flight (not mandatory);
