NIGERIA BUSINESS VISA CHECKLIST

Apply for a Business Visa if you are travelling to Nigeria for:-

1. Conference (attending only)
2. Business Discussions
3. Business Meetings
4. Meetings with Government Officials
5. Academic / Educational / Institutions
6. Parastatals
7. NGO – Non-Government Organisations (if invited by or attending meetings)
8. Meetings with Business Partners
9. Business Related Issues.

ALL APPLICATIONS TO BE SUBMITTED TO OIS SERVICES IN NEW DELHI.

APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER 11.00 AM WILL BE TREATED AS NEXT DAY APPLICATIONS.

ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE PROVIDED OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

1. Passport/Travel Document a minimum of 6 months validity. Must have two blank facing pages If non-Indian passport holder please see below for additional notes.

2. Two recent passport sized photographs

3. Payment and acknowledgement slips available once online payment is complete Printed from www.innovate1services.com OR portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/OnlineQueryStatus

4. Copy of Passport Data-Page

5. A letter of invitation from Host Company in Nigeria. This must be addressed to the Nigerian High Commission New Delhi. It must be on letter headed paper stating the address of the company, The reason for the visit must be stated and accepting full immigration and financial responsibility on behalf of the applicant duration his/her stay.

6. Photocopy of inviter’s international passport data page.

7. A letter from your employer, this must be addressed to the Nigerian High Commission New Delhi. It must be on letter headed paper stating the address of the company, Reason for the visit must be stated, and The letter must be signed and dated by a senior member of staff at the company. This cannot be signed by the applicant.

8. Certificate of Incorporation of the Host Company in Nigeria.

9. A copy of bank statement, showing name and address of Applicant/Company. The bank statement must be a minimum of $1000 in credit, overdrafts are not included. This can be no more than 3 months old at time of submission.

10. Complete visa application form online at https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/freshVisa Once completed 2 copies must be printed out, signed and dated by applicant.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. DOCUMENTS NOT IN ENGLISH MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH A CERTIFIED TRANSLATED COPY.
2. ALL LETTERS SHOULD BE TYPED, SIGNED AND DATED & MUST BE ADDRESSED TO THE NIGERIAN HIGH COMMISSION NEW DELHI.
3. NON-INDIAN PASSPORT HOLDER – MUST PROVIDE LEGAL RESIDENCE (Resident Visa/Permit).
4. Must provide copy of Airline ticket or Flight Itinerary (Where applicable).
