BENIN TOURIST VISA CHECKLIST

* Visa form

* Passport Should be valid at least Six Month

* Copy of the passport

* 2 Visa Forms

* 2 Latest photograph

* Request letter addressed to visa officer Benin Embassy.. A personal letter from the applicant addressed to the Embassy of Benin, explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, cities to be visited, and place of accommodation. If self employed this letter should be on business letter head.

* List of countries visited in the last 6 months.

* Original invitation letter, If visiting friends or family, you must provide letter of invitation with the contact information of the host and visitor, purpose and duration of the visit, confirmation of accommodation including the address, signature and date. You will also need to provide proof of the host's status in Benin ie. copy of their Benin passport's information page, or, if they are not a citizen of Benin, copies of their Benin residence permit and their national passport's information pages.

* Yellow fever Vaccination certificate, ORIGINAL Yellow Fever Vaccination Card is required for visa processing as well as at the time of travelling.

* Return Confirm Ticket

* Hotel booking for stay duration

* Proof of funds covering duration of stay or last 6 months updated bank account statements with bank stamp and signed.

* Proof of Foreign Exchange

* If Employee - No-Objection Certificate from the Employer

* If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return and occupation proofs and last 6 months company bank statements with bank stamp and signed .

* If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Authority Letter. A letter of authorization for submission and collection of the applicant's passport information
